The Maursund: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

On Oct 4, 2017 a fire broke out in the engine room of the "Maursund" at the Fuglenes quay in the fishing port of Hammerfest. The fire department with with three engines and six crews, police and ambulance attended. At 4 p.m. the fire was extinguished. Parts of the crew, which already had tackled the fire, were sent to a health check. The police did not yet have an overview of whether there were still crew members left on the ship. The fire department sought for remaining hot spots with a thermal camera.
