Tanker boarded by perpetrators
The 'Masagana' was boarded by four robbers in a wooden boat, at the Vung Tau anchorage, Vietnam, on April 19, 2020, at about 6.45 p.m. The duty watchman on routine rounds noticed the robbers and notified the Officer of the Watch. The alarm was raised, and the vessel's whistle sounded. Hearing the alarm, the robbers escaped with stolen vessel's stores. The crew was mustered and a search of the vessel was conducted. The Port control was informed.
