Ran aground, Baltic sea
General cargo vessel Kirsten ran aground near Mikelbaka, Ventspils area, Baltica sea, Latvia, reported Latvian Coast Guard on May 28 2012. Vessel managed to refloat by own means. Authorities suspected crew or officer on bridge being drunk, and launched an investigation. Vessel’s survey found no damages. Vessel is moored in Mersrags, Riga Bay, since May 26.
