Leuveborg, acquired as the second out of seven vessels, was brought to Wagenborg standards and provided with Wagenborg colours at shipyard Royal Niestern Sander during the past weeks. Combining the strenghts of Niestern Sander and several departments of Wagenborg Shipping, the m.v. Leuveborg was prepared for her first voyage to Tarragona, Spain. Equipped with ice class 1A and three box-shaped holds of 17.5 m, 25.9 m and 25.2 m, m.v. Leuveborg is suitable for worldwide trade carrying various cargos such as forest products and (break-)bulk making m.v. Leuveborg a perfect fit in Wagenborg’s existing fleet of ice-strengthened multipurpose dry cargo vessels.
