On Aug 14, 2022, the 'Manassa Moon M', en route from Bar to Tripoli, suffered an engine failure off Akbaş in the Dardanelles. The ship was secured by the tugs 'Kurtarma 13' and 'Kurtarma 15', assisted by the lifeboat 'KEGM 9' and anchored at Karanlık Liman under the coordination of the Turkish Coastguard Çanakkale Ship Traffic Services Center. As of Aug 15, the ship remained stationary in pos. 40° 02.43'N 026° 18.73' E.
