Callisto Resumes Journey After Adrift Incident Near Selsey Bill
On March 16, 2018, the cargo ship 'Callisto' found itself adrift 21 miles southeast of Selsey Bill, at the coordinates 50 25.588N, 000 29.441E. The vessel, which was carrying a substantial load of 20,078 tonnes of aluminium T bars, was making its way from Flushing to New Orleans with a crew of 17 on board. Fortunately, at 5 p.m., the situation was resolved, and the Callisto was able to resume its voyage.
