Medevac in Schleimünde
The lifeboat 'Fritz Knack' of the DGzRS station in Olpenitz medevaced a 17 yyear old girl from the 'Luciana' in the night of Sep 21, 2021, in the port of the Schleimünde peninsula. She had sustained a cut in her hand, and the wound urgently needed medical attention. The crew alerted the sea rescuers, and an emergency paramedic from the Johanniters tookover the medical advice. The lifeboat went alongside the 'Luciana' ten minutes later and took on board the girl together with an accompanying person. After the return to the port of Olpenitz, the victim was handed over to an ambulance and taken to a hospital.
