Engine overheated on suction dredger
In the afternoon of May 26, 2018, the fire station in Næstved was alerted to a fire aboard the "Kronos" in the port of Næstved. An engine that drives the pumps was overheated and developed smoke. A smoke dive team therefore penetrated the engine room and was quickly able to get the situation under control. The ship was then vented with a high pressure fan.
