Krake nearly sank boat
On Aug 30, 2011, at 2.40 p.m. the "Krake" was in collision with a transport boat of 9,6 metres length from Southampton which was berthed at the East-Quay. The "Krake" was moving astern when it was caught by a wind gust and hit the boat with its port side. The British boat was severely damaged at port side and in danger of sinking, but could be lifted onto the quay by a crane. The police Wilhelmshaven launched investigations.
