The "Koningsborg" left the port of Brest again after repairs on Feb 11 at 10 a.m., escorted by the "Pilots Brest" (MMSI: 227730220) out of the port, before resuming its voyage to Bizerte as next port of call, ETA Feb 18, which had been interrupted due to propulsion damage and subsequent cargo loss on Jan 31.

Mariners have been advised to keep a good lookout for around 200 wooden planks lost by the "Konginsborg", which have been spotted 25 miles west of Guernsey. On Jan 31, 2015 at 5:25 a.m. the "Koningsborg" notified the CROSS Corsen to have suffered propulsion damage and being in need of tug assistance. The ship was carrying a cargo of wood from Llovisa to Bizerte and was located 18 nautical miles west of the island of Ouessant. After the engine damage it had lost much of its deck cargo over night, but the stability was not affected. The CROSS broadcasted on VHF alerts to mariners in the area. The Maritime Prefect decided to dispatch the emergency tug "Abeille Bourbon" from its position off Ouessant at 11.30 a.m. which took the ship in tow to Brest. Actually the convoy was still in the Bay of Biscay after the towing wire broke SW of Pierres Noires lighthouse but has been fixed again.
