The 'Doro Londa' caught fire while undergoing annual maintenance in drydock at the PT DKB Galangan I, Tanjung Priok, on Aug 11, 2025, at around 11:45 a.m. WIB. The fire started in an economy passenger cabin on Deck 5. At 11:55 a.m. a VTS operator spotted smoke coming from the vessel. After coordinating with the Tanjung Priok Port Authority (KSOP), the Pilotage Office, and dock personnel, confirmation was received at 12:20 p.m. from the Pilotage Office that the 'Dorolonda' was indeed on fire. Initial firefighting efforts were carried out by deploying the tug 'Batavia 3'. The fire was initially extinguished at 12:41 p.m.,but smoke reappeared at 1:30 p.m. At around 2 p.m., seven fire trucks arrived at the scene. The firefighting operation involved the PT DKB Galangan I Firefighting Team, the Owner Surveyor Team, the ferry crew, the Pelindo Regional 2 Firefighting Team, and the North Jakarta Municipal Fire Department. The blaze was fully extinguished by 4 p.m., followed by cooling operations until 5:45 p.m. Post-incident measures included cleaning the affected areas and conducting a joint inspection between PT DKB Galangan I and a surveyor of the owner.
