Triple allision off Bakauheni
Three ferries, moored at the anchorage south of Bakauheni Port, Sumatra, allided on Dec 3, 2019, at 6.30 a.m. The KM 'Amarisa' dragged her anchor in strong winds and underwater currents and high swell. She first drifted onto the port side stern of the 'Nusa Asung', where railings and ventilation tubes were folded over. Then she scraped along the port sie bow of the 'Suki 2'.
