The North West Shelf export plant in Australia has experienced significant interruptions in liquefied natural gas (LNG) production due to a power failure that began on May 5, according to a spokesman from Woodside Petroleum. Live vessel tracking data from Reuters Eikon indicates that the Northwest Snipe, a LNG tanker with a capacity of 126,942 cubic meters, has been anchored outside the port for several days, alongside the Northwest Seaeagle, which has a capacity of 126,815 cubic meters. Meanwhile, the Northwest Swan, another vessel from the project, is expected to arrive on Saturday after concluding its delivery in Singapore. Additionally, the Dapeng Star and Dapeng Moon tankers are also anchored near the facility, waiting for the situation to stabilize.
