Ship adrift in gale after engine failure
In the afternoon of Dec 19, 2014, the "Klaverbank" went adrift in a southwest gale 15 miles NW of Smøla after having suffered engine failure enroute from Mo i Rana to Averøya. Florø radio was notified at 4.51 p.m. After some hours the crew of eight was able to start the engine again during the night, and the ship proceeded to Kristiansund for further repairs where it safely berthed on Dec 20 at 4.35 p.m.
