Trials after engine repairs
The "Kholmogory" started sea trials from Scheveningen on Apr 11. The ship had gone adrift due to an engine failure in position 50 37.46 N 00 17 E on Feb 22, 2017. it arrived at Rotterdam on Feb 25, sailed on Apr 11 at 10.30 a.m. and arrived at Scheveningen the same day at 4 p.m.
KHOLMOGORY 9109081
On March 17 2011 at 2050 LT m/v Kholmogory suffered variable pitch propeller mechanism failure in 59 56N 025 44 E, in Finland MRCC safety zone. Vessel was enroute from S-Petersburg Russia to Norrköping Sweden. Icebreaker and tug from Finland were requested for assistance and towage to Swedish port. Russian icebreaker Kapitan Lus towed disabled vessel from ice to clear water, towage completed at 0235 March 19. Vessel drifting, awaiting tug from Finland.
