The Kattegat: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

3F Sømændene requested an arrest of the "Kattegat" on Oct 14. 2013. The ferry is owned by the Cypriot Paschamo Shipping Company Ltd. The contracts of the Danish crew with the FRS Ship Management Limited expired on Oct 11 because the route was not profitable. Then the ferry was destined for Spain for overhauls before entering a service between Spain and North Africa. The termination of the contract and the fact that a new foreign crew was signed in Århuswas so unusual that they sought security for the wages for the rest of the time. The case was submitted to the Bailiff's Court in Aarhus on Oct 17. On Oct 18 October the company the necessary security of 4.8 million Danish crowns so that the ferry could leave Århus.
