Grounding on Rio de La Plata

The "Kanchana Naree" ran aground on Sep 2, 2018, at 06.40 a.m. on the Rio De la Plata off Buenos Aires. The bulkcarrier was en route from San Martin to Las Palmas. The ship refloated on Sep 4 at 11 p.m. and was taken to an anchorage at Ensenada for investigations. By Sep 4 it remained moored in pos. 34° 44.47' S 057° 48.94' W. It arrived at Las Palmas on Sep 21.
