Fire soon extinguished
A fire broke out on the cargo deck of the "José Maria Morelos II" in the morning of June 21, 2018, at 5 a.m. at the Salina Cruz Refinery Terminal in the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, during a hose connection procedure. An incidental spark was the cause of the fire which was quickly extinguished by Petróleos Mexicanos firefighters and the crew.
