Engine trouble in Dover Strait
The 'Jolyn', while en route from Antwerp to Silloth with eight crew members and 3390 tonnes of fertilizer on board, suffered a problem with the main engine in position 51 17 09.0N, 001 48 26.4E, while transiting the Dover Strait Traffic Separation Scheme in the Southbound lane on June 10, 2021, at 1 p.m. Within a quarter of an hour the defect has been rectified, and the vessel continued its voyage with an ETA as of June 13.
