Truck overturned in car deck
A truck loaded with bananas turned over and hit two vehicles in the ca deck of the KMP 'Jatra II' while the ferry was battling a storm raging in the Sunda Strait on Feb 6, 2022. Also a moving bridge in Banten Merak Port was damaged. Waves around the Merak Banten Port reached approximately four meters height. The PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Merak Branch was forced to close the Banten Merak Port Executive Pier.
