Collision off Shimizu
The bulkcarrier 'Resurgence' was in collision with the 'SITC Bangkok' on Oct 24, 2019, at 6.05 p.m. about 0.09 miles off the Shimizu Breakwater and damaged its bulwark and a container. The 'SITC Bangkok' sustained damages to its portside hull and bulbous bow and could not navigate under own power as a consequence. On Oct 26 it remained stationary in pos. 35° 1.91' N 138° 30.31' E off the port.
