Yard worker injured in accident
In the afternoon of Sep 30, 2020, a 35 year old worker of the Norder Yard fell from a scaffolding from a height of 4-5 meters while working aboard the “Helgoland” and suffered severe back injuries. The ship was drydocked at the yard for maintenance since Aug 22. The fire rescue recovered the man with a crane. He was taken to hospital by helicopter for treatment. The police launched an investigation on board on Oct 1.
