Ferry sold and renamed for operation in Mediterranean
**Title: Former Polish Ferry 'Gryf' Transformed and Repositioned for Mediterranean Routes** In a significant shift for maritime operations, the Polish ferry 'Gryf' has departed from the Baltic Sea as of Spring 2026. Following the delivery of the state-of-the-art 'Jantar Unity' in December 2025, Unity Line made the decision to lay the ropax ferry up at Swinoujscie. The journey of 'Gryf' took a new turn on March 16, when it set sail from Swinoujscie. After arriving in Skagen on March 21, the vessel continued its voyage, making its way to the Mediterranean, with a scheduled departure on March 27. The former Polish ferry made a brief stop in Istanbul between April 11 and April 17, before embarking on its new chapter under the name 'Mert L.' On April 18, the ferry commenced operations on the popular route connecting Constanta and Poti, marking an exciting new phase in its maritime journey.
