The former Hurtigruten Ferry/Passenger Ship GANN is on its way from Stavanger (Norway) to North Shields (North East England) on a rescue mission. Due to arrive at the International Passenger Terminal on Sunday morning (18/04/2010) and is picking up a group of Norwegian Students and other passengers who have been stranded in the UK owing to the suspension of flights.
