The "Eurocargo Livorno" allided with a jetty in the southern port of Patras in the afternooon of May 6, 2019, while trying to berth. The ferry had come from Venice with eight passengers and a cargo of 283 trucks on board. No one was injured in the incident. The vessel suffered a small dent at the starboard side of its hull above the waterline and was moored with the help of a tug. Also the jetty suffered sligth damage. The port authority of Patras detained the ferry until repairs were carried out and a certificate of seaworthiness issued by the relevant classification society. The ship left the port again on May 7 at 3.10 p.m., bound to Bari, ETA May 8.
