Propeller fouled by rope

The "Alsterdijk" got its propeller fouled by a rope on Dec 6, 2013, short past noon during the passage of the southern lock of the Kiel Canal in Brundbüttel. The ship had already received tug assistance so that it could be pushed at the nearby pilings at Ostermoor with the help of a third tug. The lock had to be closed temporarily. The vessel was enroute from St. Petersburg to Antwerp.
