Eiltank 39 allided with bridge
On June 3, 2011, the "Eiltank 39" allided with a bridge on the Elbe-Seiten-Canal close to Lüder, Uelzen community, thereby crushing its wheelhouse. The captain was not hurt. He had forgotten to lower the wheelhouse. He still managed to moor the ship at a nearby berth where repairs are to be carried out. The damage was about 30000 Euro.
