Injured crew member taken off in Teesport
An injured crew member of the "Tjonger", docked in Teesport, had to be rescued by the Redcar Coastguard team on Sep 23, 2018, at 4 a.m. on Sunday after suffering a knee injury. The ship was berthed at the North Sea Supply Base at the time of the incident. A HART Team and North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) paramedics were also on scene. The patient was transported to James Cook University Hospital by land. A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance were sent to the scene to help the crew member.
