Freighter disabled near Istanbul
The 'Croatia' suffered an engine failure, while enroute from the port of Nikolaev to Hereke with a cargo of steel, in the evening of April 26, 2021, and went adrift in the area of Martyrs Bridge near the the Dolmabahçe Palace during the Southbound transit of the Bosphorus. Coastal Safety deployed the tug 'Kurtarma 8' to assist.
