Medevac off Gris Nez
In the morning of Aug 14, 2019, the CROSS Gris Nez was alerted after a crew member aboard the "Comoros Stream", which was enroute from Portsmouth to Flushing, required urgent medical care. At 07:05 a.m. the MRCC of Den-Helder relayed the information to the CROSS that the patient needed a medical evacuation from the ship which was withn the traffic separation scheme eight miles from Cape Gris-Nez. At 07:35 a.m., the CROSS deployed a Dauphin helicopter of the Navy base Le Touquet with a medical team from the SMUR on board.
