The water police detained the "Flintereems" on Feb 29, 2012, 1,5 hours before sailing from Stralsund after they found the Russian captain drunk intoxicated with 2,17 thousands. The ship had a cargo of scrap on board. The captain had already been found drunk the day before during a port control.
