Tanker escorted to Hawaii after propulsion trouble
The "BV Var" suffered propulsion problems in position 30 55 N 162 29 W on Jan 9, 2018. As of 11 Jan the vessel was moving under her own power towards Hawaii. In consultation with H&M underwriters and with due regards to a safe onward passage, BW LPG has employed the tug "Montana" (IMO: 9764996) to escort the tanker to Honolulu, ETA Jan 13.
