Injured crew member medevaced off Brest
On Jan 14, 2023, a French Navy helicopter medevaced a crew member of the 'Bonas' off the coast of Brest and transported him to the hospital Cavale Blanche in Brest. Thhe CROSS Corsen coordinate the opeation. The bulk carrier was en route from Rotterdam towards Leixoes and was sailing 95 nautical miles southwest of Brest. The Caiman helicopter was engaged at 10:51 p.m. The victim, a 27-year-old man who had suffered a bad fall, was airlifted at 11:47 p.m.
