Belships signs sale and leaseback deal with Japanese company

Norwegian supramax specialist Belships has announced that it has entered into a sale and leaseback agreement with a Japanese counterpart for 61,000dwt bulk carrier Belforest. The vessel is currently under construction at Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan and will be sold and leased back for a period of 12 years, with purchase options from year three.
