Bunker tanker ran aground
The "Gazpromneft East" ran aground in the evening of Sep 1, 2016, on the Petrovskiy Canal near St. Petersburg between the buoys 9-10 and 11-23, with 1200 tons fuel on board. The vessel was refloated short after midnight on Sep 2 with the assistance of two tugs and taken to the Kanonerskiy Shaip Repair Yard for an underwater survey of the hull. The ship berthed in Lomonosov on Sep 2 at 10.45 p.m. and at Nevskaya Guba in St. Petersburg on Sep 3 at 7 a.m.
