Medevac off Hoek van Holland

On May 7, 2018, at 8.45 a.m. the KNRM Hoek van Holland was alerted for a sick crew member aboard the "Andrea" on RTM Anchorage 5. At 09.25 a.m. the lifeboat "Jeanine Parqui" went alongside and medevaced the patiënt with the rope ladder. The man was monitored on the way back to the Berghaven, where an ambulance was waiting and took him to the Erasmus Medisch Centrum Rotterdam for treatment.
