Tanker damaged by mine
The 'Ali Nafajov', en route from Batumi, was hit a mine while approaching the Bystre Pass in the Danube Delta on Oct 15, 2023, at around 08.30 a.m. LT. The ship suffered a hull breach at starboard side and engine damages and had to wait for tugs to be towed upstream the Danube. In the morning of Oct 16, two tugs started to tow the tanker to Kiliya in the Ismajil Region.
