Tanker escaped attack off Mogadishu
On Nov 7, 2025, the 'Al Thumama' reported an approach by a small craft with three people aboard near where the tanker 'Hellas Aphrodite' was targeted, about 700 nautical miles off Mogadishu. The tanker, sailng from Qatar to Swinoujscie via the Cape of Good Hope, successfully outran the speedboat. The tanker was expected in the port of destination on Dec 6.
