Allision in Karachi
On Oct 21, 2019, at 1.40 a.m. the 'Da Xin' was in allision with the berthed container ship 'Diyala' at Karachi while maneuvering to its berth. She initially struck berth 25, bounced off and allided with the 'Diyala' which was moored at Berth 26. The quay suffered most damage. The 'Da Xin' finally was moored at the Karachi International Container Terminal. The 'Diyala' left Karachi on Oct 22 at 8.15 a.m. bound to Jebel Ali with an ETA as of Oct 23, 7 a.m.
