Ship with Covid-infected crew arrived in Fremantle
On July 26, 2021, the 'Darya Krishna' arrived in Fremantle after eight crew members had reported flu-like symptoms with the second officer being very unwell. Three crew members suspected of having COVID-19 have been medically evacuated from the ship and taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital by a St John Ambulance COVID-dedicated vehicle and special operations crew. The remaining 17 crew members will be tested for COVID-19. It had come from Singapore and had called in Indonesian ports before.
