Tanker boarded by robbers
An unknown number of perpetrators boarded the 'Al Barrah' at the Kakinada anchorage in position 17 03 42N, 82 24 48E, on Feb 20, 2020, at 05.30 a.m. The perpetrators stole two mooring ropes and eight paint drums, then fled the vessel and escaped. The Master reported the incident to the Kakinada pilot station and other relevant authorities. The Indian Coast Guard reported the incident to the coastal security police for investigation.
