The 'Sea Scanner' while enroute from Misrata to Damietta, was intercepted and detained by a patrol boat of the Libyan National Army (LNA) on June 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. The vessel had breached the LNA 'No Sail Zone' and was escorted to the Ras al Hilal anchorage for administrative procedures. She was released after signing a fine guarantee agreement on June 13.
