Injured crew member medevaced in Hans Weert
On Jan 29, 2021, at 3.35 a.m. a crew member of the 'Aland' was injured while the ship was enroute from Antwerp to Amsterdam. It sailed from the Wester Scheldt directly to the southern foreport of Hans Weert. Two ambulance teams and the police were sent out. The victim was taken off with the help of Rijkswaterstaat's patrol boat 'RWS 79' and received by one of the waiting ambulances. He was then taken to the hospital in Goes by the ambulance service around 5.20 a.m. At 8.15 a.m. the ship anchored on Flushing roads.
