Disabled cargo ship towed to Hualian
The "CS Wisdom Express" got out of control after a rudder control equipment failure, and started to drift 40 miles south of Hualien Port in central eastern Taiwan, alerting Taiwan authorities in the afternoon of Jan 2, 2019. The ship was en route from Kaohsiung to Funabashi. A tug was sent, and the ship was safely towed to Hualien where it berthed on Jan 3 at 9 p.m.
