Medevac off Marathon
A man aboard the "CS Calvina" was medically evacuated i nthe evening of June 18, 2014, around 25 nautical miles south of Marathon, Florida. At 6 p.m., watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Key West received a report of a 43-year-old man who required urgent medical care. After consulting with the flight surgeon, an aircrew with Coast Guard Air Station Miami launched.
