A British captain has been fined 1,250 pounds (10,100 Croatian kuna)after he forgot to switch off the engine of his luxury yacht that then went on the rampage through a marina in the posh Croat port of Hvar, Croatian Times reports. The yacht owning company registered in the Virgin Islands and skippered by captain Ashley Benns (49) from Manchester will also need to pay thousands of pounds worth of compensation for two people injured and five vessels damaged when the 31-metres-long yacht Kai skippered by the Briton went on the run.
