Dredger dismasted yacht
On Nov 23, 2011, at 10.10 pm. the KNRM Hoekse was alarmed after the yacht "Rio Scoe" from Hamburg was in collision with the "Crestway" in pos. 52 ° 04.25 004 ° and 03.70, 7 miles west of Kijkduin. The yacht had lost the mast and was taken alongside the dredger, but the skipper remained on board. The "Jeanine Parqui" was on scene at 10.45 pm. The yacht was surveyed for possible leaks and taken int tow at 11.20 p.m. by the "Jeanine Parqui", escorted by the police launch "RPA15" towards Hoek van Holland. On Nov 24 at 01.30 a.m. the boat was safely moored in the Berg harbour.
