Detention in Rayong
The 'Akra 103' was detained on Oct 6, 2025, in the port of Map Ta Phut, Rayong. The detention was carried out by the Tokyo Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) authorities during an initial inspection. The inspection revealed a total of eight deficiencies, three of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. On Oct 8, the ship initially dropped anchor in pos. 12° 35' N 101° 12' E and then headed to Futong with an ETA as of Oct 14.
Anchor loss off Ymuiden
The "Winter Sun" lost its port side anchor together with three shackles in Ymuiden anchorage in position 52 32.75 N, 004 16.69 E, on Jan 8, 2019. Gale-force wind and high seas probably have caused the loss. By Jan 10, the ship which had sailed from Amsterdam on Dec 19, 2018, remained moored in pos. 52° 31.95' N 004° 14.48' E.
