Container ship towed to Las Palmas
Salvamento Marítimo assisted the 'Contship New' that was adrift, en route from Nouadhibou, about 11 kilometers from the Port of La Luz upon Las Palma on Sep 19, 2025. The SAR vessel 'Miguel de Cervantes' was deployed to the ship and managed to secure a towing connetion, which subsequently transferred it to port tugs for the docking manoever in Las Palmas.
