Collision off Hong Kong
The "Conti Chivalry" was in collision with the Chinese "Zhe Xin Hang" 17 miles east of Hong Kong in position 22 04 17 N, 114 21 06 E on April 16, 2019. Both vessels suffered damage, and diesel was spilling into the sea. A Portuguese investigation team, in conjunction with its Chinese counterpart research team was gathering evidence to assess the incident.
